The project to renovate the wastewater treatment system at An Phu Plaza, carried out by NTS Engineering Co., Ltd, aims to upgrade the efficiency of domestic wastewater treatment and ensure the effluent quality meets current QCVN standards.

Through the survey and analysis of the current condition, NTS found that the system had shown signs of serious deterioration, with the actual treatment capacity reaching about 70% of the original design. This not only poses a risk of environmental pollution but also affects the operational efficiency and reputation of the building.

Challenge

Renovating a wastewater treatment system in a continuously operating building requires:

  • The treatment system is located in the basement, with limited space, low ceilings, and interspersed with many other engineering items. Therefore, the renovation plan must be carefully, and suitable for the actual conditions of the project
  • Other building operations must continue to operate. This requires careful planning of the renovation process so as not to affect other building operations
  • In addition, there are requirements for odor and noise control during implementation

Solution

The wastewater treatment system at An Phu Plaza applies AO technology combined with MBBR. NTS is required to improve the treatment efficiency without expanding the existing tank. The proposed renovation solutions include:
